Direct but approachable manner. Clearly explained treatment options available to me and outlined procedure relative to my condition. Mr Wijeratna's manner, professionalism, and expertise made me feel at ease during the procedure. I was so happy to have things explained to me and to ask questions during my procedure. One suggestion is that on occasions my consultation felt a little rushed. I would have liked it to have been a little more 'paced'. Overall I'm very happy with my experience and with the outcome of my treatment. Thank you.

I had an operation on my shoulder as I had restricted movement following a skiing accident. I am thrilled with the improvement which was very quick and relatively pain free. Overall, I am delighted with the outcome.

Just one year ago I had a reverse shoulder replacement to my right arm, just after I got home we all went into lockdown due to the Pandemic, so I missed out on seeing Mr Wijeratna for a follow up appointment, but, due to the fantastic work both him and his team performed on my surgery, I managed with great care to get back on track again. I saw him again for the first time on Monday 15th March for a check up, it was lovely to speak with him again. He seemed pleased with my progress and said he would still keep an eye in me over the coming years. To be free of the terrible pain I suffered is all down to his skill and knowledge. Thank you so much Mr Wijeratna.

Despite the limitations of the pandemic, you have managed to do your own exercises and have had a great result! I was very pleased to see that you are free from pain and how your shoulder function is twice as good as what it was before your operation! Well done!

I attended City Hospital 3/3/21 for a Subacromial Decompression. I have a fear of needles and was extremely anxious before the operation. Mr Wijeratna sat down with me beforehand and talked me through the process which really eased my anxiety. He explained everything very clearly and answered a couple of questions I had in a way i could understand. I explained about my needle phobia which he explained to his excellent team who managed this extremely well and made me as comfortable as possible. Healing well and so glad I’ve had my shoulder sorted. Leigh Jackson

I took my mum to see Mr Malin Wijeratna at the Ramsey Woodthorpe Hospital last Friday for a follow up appt after her shoulder replacement in 2020 . I would like to thank him for his professionalism , kindness , and friendly manner , my mum is very hard of hearing , which makes it very difficult to have a conversation with her . Mr Wijeratna was so patient and kind to my mum ,which is sometimes very stressful , my mum was very grateful to him , he has made her quality of life so much better , now she is free from pain in her shoulder , such a wonderful outcome from her operation performed by Mr Wijeratna , I would personally like to thank him and all the wonderful staff at the Woodthorpe hospital for making my mum feel at ease and looking after her .
